When I saw this gorgeous design by Pem I instantly knew I wanted to make it!
Interpreting the Design
Although Pem's design is absolutely gorgeous as it is, I have to make a few changes here and there, in order to fit some of the criterias and restrictions I have to make it fit into my Drag Me Up semi-finals line up. My idea is the keep the general shape and colors, because this is truly what makes this design so iconic. The main changes are going to be the skin color, as I will not have time to change my entire make-up between the different numbers I have to perform the night of the contest.

Mixing Ideas
Thinking about the performing aspects of my number, I quickly realised I'm gonna have to find a way to incorporate a costume change. I want to be able to move and dance, so that the number doesn't get boring after the first minute. I thought of a way to easily remove the flower part of the outfit, and end up in sparkly underwear inspired by Britney Spears's Billboard Awards performance.

The Wig
For the wig I had to change the idea of an updo. I want to be able to whip my hair around and give my best hairography just like Britney. So I decided to take inspiration from one of my favorite reprensentation of the character played by Uma Thurman in the Batman and Robin movie. The two iconic horns on top of her head gives a little nod to my Spice Girl obsession, and with a few tinsels and rhinestones I'm sure this hairdo is going to be absolutely fabulous!
