The Love of Performing
Working for Disney has taught me many lessons, and the most important one is without a doubt : how to be professional. As an artist, it is of course incredibly important to be talented, but I truly believe that it is just as important, if not more, to always be on time, and to treat everyone around you with kindness and respect. Being part of this huge company, definetely showed me that it takes a village to create something incredible. There is no show, without people helping out with costumes, with lights, with props and of course coordinating all that is not an easy task. I believe it is really important to be grateful for all those people who may not be in the spotlight, but who help you shine in the best possible way.

Working Hard
Many of us dreamed about becoming a super star, but altought some find fame overnight, the vast majority of artists have to work extra hard to make a living out of their passion. I always felt incredibly lucky to be paid to wear gorgeous costumes of characters I loved, and very early on, it sparked an interest in me. Everyday I would look inside the costumes I was wearing to try and work out how they were made, what made them so beautiful. I'm pretty sure this helped me tremendously to develop my eye for materials. To this day, I still tell myself when I'm choosing what fabric to use "What would they do in Disney?".
Dreaming Big
During my career at Disney I had the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. I learned to speak English and Italian fluently while I was there. It felt incredible to not only be able to speak those langages on a daily basis but also to know more about the culture of the people I was working with. It opened my mind and showed me that we are all diferent, and that it should be celebrated. When I left, I was a completely different person and it gave me the tools to make all of my dreams come true. I will be forever thankful for this amazing opportunity and it is very dear to my heart to share with people around me the magic I have learned whilst working there.
